Hit or A Miss

Nidhi’s Grandmaa Secret: Hit or A Miss?

Like thousands of women in their late 30s, I was facing a dreadful problem – hairfall! Every morning, I saw way too many strands on my pillow, on the bathroom floor, and, honestly, everywhere in the house.

My search for effective hair fall control products is what led me to Nidhi’s Grandmaa Secret

The brand’s name immediately clicked in my head. I had seen this brand appear on Shark Tank. Plus, they had 100% natural products, rooted in the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda, which intrigued me even more. So, I decided to give ‘Nidhi’s Grandmaa Secret’ a chance.

Why I Chose to Nidhi’s Grandmaa Secret As My Hair Fall Remedy?

When I came across Nidhi’s Grandmaa Secret, the name itself caught my attention. It immediately gave me a sense of trust, like it was rooted in age-old remedies that our mothers and grandmothers always believed in.

The fact that the brand is 100% natural and Ayurvedic made me even more curious. I’ve always been inclined towards products that avoid harsh chemicals because I know long-term damage often starts there. Instead, this brand focuses on traditional, herbal solutions that have been passed down through generations, which was something that really resonated with me.

Another big factor for me was the positive reviews I found online. Many women spoke about how their hair fall had reduced and their scalp felt healthier after consistent use. Especially for their 13-herb oil, a literal hero product, there were hundreds of good reviews.

So, with the promise of natural, Ayurvedic hair fall solutions and the backing of genuine customer feedback, I felt confident enough to finally give these products a try.

Hair Fall Solutions I Tried from Nidhi’s Grandmaa Secret

1. Hair Fall Control Trial Pack – ₹599

This was the first thing I added to my cart because it directly addressed my biggest concern, i.e., hair fall.

The hair fall control trial pack came with a shampoo, conditioner, and hair oil, all made with Ayurvedic herbs. The promise was stronger roots, reduced breakage, and healthier hair growth. I used the oil twice a week before washing, followed by the shampoo and conditioner. The products smelled very herbal (which I actually liked because it felt real and chemical-free).

The oil has the smell of curry leaves and camphor, so it’s not something I would apply during the day. I used to either apply it overnight or on Sunday for 2-3 hours before washing my hair. You can apply it more often if you wash your hair frequently.

Results in 2 weeks: After a few washes, my scalp genuinely felt less itchy. The conditioner is also very rich, but I didn’t notice much shine in my strands, honestly.

Results in 4 weeks: By the 4th week, I noticed fewer strands coming out during combing. My scalp also felt healthier. I used to experience dandruff sometimes if I skipped hair wash for 2-3 days, but after using this combo, my dandruff was also gone.

Results in 6 weeks: It has been 6 weeks, and I can clearly see at least 40% less hairfall. My hair feels softer, shinier, and nourished.

2. Kacchi Neem Comb – ₹199

This one instantly reminded me of my nani, who used to say that neem had healing powers. The brand claims it helps with dandruff, scalp infections, and even stimulates growth. Now, that’s something I can’t really back, but I definitely felt it was gentler on my scalp, didn’t create static, and gave a nice massaging effect.

3. Herbal Sindoor – ₹299

This was just what I expected. It felt light, didn’t irritate my scalp, and I loved that it looked good without me worrying about long-term damage.

And the best part, it had two colours- red and maroon, to match with different indian outfits.

4. Satin Bonnet – ₹299

This might sound a little extra, but trust me, it made a difference. The satin bonnet is supposed to reduce frizz and breakage by protecting your hair while you sleep. I wore it at night, and honestly, I woke up with smoother hair.

The best part? No more broken hair strands on my pillow!

Is this worth buying? Well, this one was like any satin/silk bonnet. So, if you already have one, keep using that one. If you don’t, surely give this one a try because it is affordable and very effective.

5. Head and Scalp Massager – ₹899

This one was a clear choice. Their 13-herb hair oil required 10 minutes of proper scalp massage to show good results. So, I had to get my hands on this scalp massager

This one exceeded my expectations. It is rechargeable, has silicone nodes instead of plastic, which is very gentle on the scalp, and really helps you relax.

This was a 10/10.

6. Hair Perfume – ₹199

This was such an innovative product –  a completely natural hair perfume with no chemicals! I had to try it. The smell is very subtle, and it does not feel sticky, which is amazing. The smell is also long-lasting, but you can only apply it to wet hair.
